Nicola Benedetti is new Festival Patron

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Nicola Benedetti CBE as Patron of the Investec International Music Festival.

Nicola, like Wu Qian, studied at Surrey’s Yehudi Menuhin School, and her association with the Festival began in 2010 when she performed in the Festival’s first concert series.

We are delighted that she is appearing again this year in the Festival’s Celebration Concert at the Mairlot Hall, St Teresa’s on 4 May, with London’s Philharmonia Orchestra performing perhaps the best-loved of all works for violin, Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1.

Nicola was appointed CBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours List.
